Staff at St Cuthbert's Hospice

St Cuthbert’s Hospice currently employs around sixty staff in a wide range of roles. We employ fully qualified nursing staff and Health Care Assistants in our Day and In Patient Units, and we have Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists onsite.

The catering, housekeeping, fundraising, retailing, and the administration and finance departments all support the work of the medical team, and enable us to provide high quality care.

We do occasionally have vacancies across all departments, and these are advertised when they occur in local newspapers including the Northern Echo, the Advertiser Series and on www.sector1.net. We would be grateful if you would only apply in response to an advertisement, as we are unable to hold applications on file.

We are always looking for reliable bank staff to work in both the Day Hospice and the In Patient Unit. If you’re a qualified and experienced Nurse or Health Care Assistant, and you’re looking for occasional shift work then we would like to hear from you.

We actively encourage applications from a range of backgrounds, regardless of gender, age, religion or race.
