Fundraising Events

St Cuthbert’s Hospice organises a range of events throughout the year, helping to raise money for patient care. Taking part in one of our events can be great fun, as well as raising money for a good cause. There really is something for everyone in 2010, from our hugely successful Midnight Walk to dog walks and sky dives. For more information, call the Development team on 0191 3861170.

Sky Dive: Saturday 2nd October, Peterlee Sky Dive Academy, £70 deposit plus £400 min sponsorship
Nothing quite compares to the thrill of jumping out of an aeroplane - except for the knowledge that you are doing it to make a real difference to local families.  Reach for the skies to support your local hospice!

Paws for a Cause - Sponsored Dog Walk: Sunday 10th October, Houghall Woodlands, £10 registration per dog
Our three mile sponsored dog walk is back with a bark, complete with a brand new woodland route and hundreds of hounds!

We are also lucky enough to benefit from a dedicated community of supporters who organise their own fundraising events for St Cuthbert's Hospice. With everything from coffee mornings to a glittering charity ball at Lumley Castle, there is a fantastic season of community events approaching - get involved and find out more!

Or if you can’t find the event you’d like to attend – then why not organise your own fundraising initiative? You could encourage your friends and relatives to take part in a sponsored silence, walk or parachute jump, or what about a coffee morning or a curry night?
