Many of us will be dreaming of far off shores at this time of year.

These special photographs were taken by the Living Well Centre team when we brought the seaside to St Cuthbert’s Hospice.

A small group of guests were able to experience all the sights and sounds as part of our Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Group. These sessions support people with a dementia diagnosis to take a trip down memory lane. Like any good visit to the seaside, a little plodge in the water and fish & chips were in order.

While trips abroad may seem like they are back on the cards for some, for others it’s these little experiences that mean the world and help to make every day count.
