About the role...
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Catering Co-Ordinator to join our Hospice Bank.
The successful applicant will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual who will join our welcoming and caring environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for all areas of food production, maintaining the highest standards to meet all coffee shop, education suite and patient requirements.
They will be expected to liaise with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of all areas of the kitchen communicating with patients, staff, volunteers, visitors, carers and external suppliers to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
Responsible for supporting and motivating the kitchen and coffee shop volunteers. Provide advice and support in relation to dietary and allergen requirements to customers and patients. Contribute to the identification and reduction of food wastage. Exercise personal duty of care when using kitchen equipment
Catering Co-Ordinators will be educated to NVQ level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent and have previous experience in a similar catering setting.
