All day today, for twenty four whole hours, our full clinical running costs have been donated by South Moor Ladies AFC in loving memory of Emma Bolam with a ‘Pay for a Day’ donation.
We share below the kind words of her friends at South Moor Ladies AFC:
“Our hearts were broken when our amazing Emma gained her angel wings after a long fight against breast cancer. Everyone lucky enough to have met her would agree she was courageous, determined and an inspiration to us all. Throughout her journey she never gave up, she absolutely loved her football family and we loved her. If she wasn’t up to playing a game she was there supporting the team and would often put us through a tough bootcamp style warm up. She was and still is an absolute legend and there will always be a massive hole in South Moor Ladies hearts. We were privileged to call Emma our team mate and a true friend with the biggest heart, we will never forget her.
A year on and we are proud to raise money to support St Cuthbert’s hospice where Emma received such fantastic care and to pay for a day’s care in her memory.”
