Saturday 8th April 2023 “My husband, Tom Flowers spent the last three and a half weeks of his life being cared for by the staff at St Cuthbert’s Hospice. He and I could not have wished for better people to look after him. I cannot praise the staff highly enough."

Saturday 11th March 2023 “On 20th December 2018, my wonderful wife Catherine lost her brave fight against Breast Cancer. She spent her final weeks in St Cuthbert's Hospice in Durham, a place that means so much to my family as they gave the most amazing, end of life care to Catherine before she passed away. Our children were only 5yrs (Ethan) and 3yrs (Kara) when mummy became a star in the sky.”

Tuesday 7th March 2023. “David was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a fun loving & proud Dad and Husband with a great sense of humour, always up for a laugh, and had a kind word for everyone. He truly was one in a million”

Monday 6th March 2023: "Sandra spent a short but peaceful time at St Cuthbert's Hospice and for that, her family and friends are eternally grateful."

Monday 27th February "We decided to donate to St Cuthbert's as thanks for the superb care Mum received in her final days. No restrictions were put on our visiting hours and the staff were always very helpful and extremely kind. My sister was even able to spend several nights - and days - with her."

Sunday 26th February 2023. "David was a special type of person; he got along with everyone he met, would be the first to offer a helping hand, and was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him."

Thursday 19th January 2023. "Linda would always say that she loved being at the Hospice, as she felt like a 'normal' person and not someone with cancer. Our family cannot thank all the staff and volunteers for making Linda feel human again in her last months of life."
