St Cuthbert’s Hospice is rooted in our local community. We laugh with, listen to, comfort and care for thousands of individuals and families each year in our community. We are looking for someone who wants to make a real and lasting difference to the people we support.

This new and exciting opportunity has arisen at St Cuthbert’s Hospice to work in our Community Outreach team to break down barriers and help people in the local community access a range of Hospice activities. The role will consist of working in the community to co-ordinate and implement activities to support those in our community. This role is suited for someone who can bring people together, build strong relationships and provide opportunities for individuals and communities. You will work alongside the Community Outreach manager to build, deliver, and maintain effective and meaningful activities in and across the community. You will be joining a great team at an exciting time.

A NVQ Level 4 / Diploma in health and social care or related subject / experience is essential for this role. You will be lone working across the community and in people’s homes and will require independent travel across Durham. This post will subject to DBS screening.
