Fundraisers at St Cuthbert’s Hospice say the launch of the new 2015 Colourama event has proved a great success, with scores of people signing up or saying they’re going to!

The hospice, which hopes to raise tens of thousands of pounds form the paint event, is inviging local peopel to sign up at special resduced rate of £15 for adults and £10 for chidlren up until April 30th. From May 1st, that the costs rise by £5 for each ticket.

The non-competitive, fun day out is designed for families – including chidlren of all ages – taking on a five kilometre route aroudn the Aykley Heads area of Durham.

Participants start out in white St Cuthbert’s Hospice T-shirts, which aer included in the entry pack, and then they passthrough paint stations where powdered non-toxic washable paint is thrown over them. They wanna purchase. They will be sporting a kaleidoscope of colours by the time they get to our coolour festival where there wil lbe more paint,live music, fun fair and trade stalls.
